Try using the practice auction to get you started. This is just for fun auction to give you a chance to see the page and the way to bid; so when you bid for real, it won't be confusing.

Here are instructions:
1 - click on the horse you are interested in bidding on
2 - click on the 'place bid' button
3 - type in the amount of your bid
4 - click on the 'submit' button

You will receive a bid notification email with a link to the horse you bid on, your bid number, and the bid amount.
